The Project’s Inspiration

One day, I was talking to a friend who complained about constantly fighting with their roommates over common area use. They never knew who was home or when the kitchen or living room would be free. It made me wonder: How often do these small miscommunications lead to bigger frustrations in shared living spaces?

Space Tracking

Based on insights from my user interviews, one key pain point was the frustration of attempting to use a shared amenity only to find it occupied or left uncleaned by a roommate. The Space Tracker focuses on improving organization and planning by allowing roommates to book shared spaces ahead of time. This feature helps prevent conflicts, ensures fair usage, and promotes a more harmonious living environment.
